About Us

We are well-functioning health centers with loyal patients. We are a cheerful group that values collaboration and team spirit highly.
We have a broad operation with medical and nursing clinics. In our acute flow, we have a triage clinic where nurses and doctors assess patients in a team-based manner. We have specialist clinics such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, cardiovascular, and foot care. We also have nurses with specialized competence in geriatric psychiatry, dementia care, care planners, rehabilitation coordinators, and mental health clinics. BVC and laboratory services are also available at our unit.
The health centers are centrally located and have easy access to communication links. We have a rich outdoor life with forests and lakes in our surroundings.

About the Job
As a psychologist in our sub-area, you will work in the Hjo-Tibro and Karlsborg area. You will be part of and support the area's mental health team. Your main tasks consist of assessing and treating mental and behavioral health issues based on the primary care mission. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for seeking care at a health center. You will work based on the needs of the listed population with digital care meetings, internet and group therapy, as well as physical individual visits.
We work based on primary care-oriented methods, where the work includes high availability, stepwise/stratified care, and collaboration with other professionals and care neighbors. It is important that you have an interest in working in a primary care-oriented manner, which means prioritizing high availability for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. Interventions range from psychoeducation and self-care advice to guided treatment with literature or internet therapy, to group therapy or individual treatment interventions. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, the ability to vary methods and the extent of treatment interventions is required.
You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager and area psychologist for development in an ongoing improvement process. Supervision of psychology candidates or PTP psychologists may be relevant.
About You
You are a licensed psychologist with CBT step 1 competence; other orientations may also be relevant. It is an advantage if you have experience from the following:
- Working as a psychologist at the primary care level
- Stepwise/stratified care
- Internet-based psychological treatment
- Group therapy
- IBH
We are looking for someone who is attentive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. You are flexible and enjoy working in a team. Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the development work of the organization and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health center.

About the Recruitment Process
Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
